• Research and Development - We have conducted basic research for a number of clients, often resulting in the issuance of patents. We have performed research and development in such areas as machine vision and digital image processing, videotape recording, electronic banking, and and video-on-demand for cable television systems.
  
  
• Product Design and Development - Our work often consists of new product development, sometimes from very preliminary specifications, and can encompass overall systems responsibility including hardware and software design. We have had systems design responsibility for products ranging from small embedded systems to complex product lines. We have also performed software engineering for entire product lines across multiple product generations. While our primary expertise is software engineering we have assembled skilled development teams covering all aspects of systems engineering.
  
  
• Systems Integration - We are highly experienced systems integrators, most recently with personal computers and professional workstations, however our experience extends across several generations of system hardware starting with minicomputers and on through various microprocessor busses including Multibus and VME. We have worked with numerous operating systems including real-time, single user, and multi-user and are experienced Unix system administrators. Of course we do Windows.
  
  
• Contract Software Engineering and Development - We have successfully undertaken a number of contract programming assignments, and are adept at providing solutions featuring rapid conclusion, quality assurance, and maintainability after delivery. We provide exemplary software design, analysis, implementation, and documentation in a variety of languages. We have particular expertise in systems programming, image processing and computer graphics with extensive experience in the film and television industry.
  
  
• Small Company and Start-Up Specialization - We have extensive experience working with entrepreneurs. Most of our clients have been small companies and many of them have been start-ups. We are particularly sensitive to the critical time-to-market and burn rate issues of these concerns. Our extensive development experience allows us to complete projects in a surprisingly short time, maximizing the use of your capital.
  
  
• Technical Management Consulting - We possess management skills not often found with technical consultants. Our Principal has founded and managed several firms as well as successfully managed technical development teams. We can serve as interim technical managers in the early stages of business or project creation while the permanent in-house technical team is assembled.
  
  
• Extensive Technical Expertise - With over 30 years of software engineering experience we have developed a unique and broad skill-set which continues to grow. Specializing in demanding real-time applications, often for broadcast and cable television, in digital video, machine vision, and digital image processing, we also have a theoretical background in many aspects of computer science including operating systems theory, compiler and language design, user interfaces, and computer graphics which provides us with a broad vantage point from which to attack a problem.
